1 Timothy 1 v. 5
Whereas the aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and
a good conscience and a sincere faith.
O - Observation
Love is what we must be about. What is our purpose in life? It's stated here. To Love.
To have a relationship with God and each other. So when I think of aim, I think
of a bow and arrow. The quality of the tools, the bow and arrow, determine its
effectiveness. So it hold true with us. Sure Paul McCartney sang, "All we
need is Love", but what type of love? This verse explains the three
components that make Love be the perfect weapon for this world. Pure Heart,
Good Conscience and a Sincere Faith. How
do we acquire these instruments? We need to be in the word daily. We need to
spend time praying to Jesus. Matthew 7 v. 7a, "Ask and it will be given to
you, seek and you will find."

What is the basis of my love? Is love what I am about?

Jesus, Help me to be an excellent archer for you. Love Will.
