Event: The Apostles heal many
S - Scripture
Acts 5 v. 14, 16 And more than ever believers were added to the Lord,
multitudes both of men and women. The people also gathered from the towns
around Jerusalem bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits,
and they were all healed.
O - Observation
Trauma Center. Growth. The early church grew by leaps and bounds, because the Holy Spirit was present and they took in anyone that was hurting. Jesus told us in Matthew 9 v. 12-13, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what that means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice. For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." Sin has a great way of wrecking our lives. Life has a great way of wearing us out. The church needs to open wide its arms to those in need and bring them to the Great Physician - Jesus
A - Application
Am I working in a trauma center? Am I bringing people to the Great Physician for healing?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Let my church be a trauma center. Be present in a mighty way. Love Will
