Proverbs 21 v. 12 He who closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself cry out and not be heard.
O – Observation
Keep your eyes open and act! How do we approach the poor? We first have to recognize that God has placed us in our current economic status. 1 Samuel 2 v. 7, “The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low he also exalts.” Recognizing that God makes your status, he can also change your status. One thing I have observed regardless of your status, there’s always someone wore off. So there’s no exclusion to this proverb. We must hear and do. 1 John 3 v. 17-18, “But anyone has the worlds goods and sees his brother in need, yet close his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word and or speech but in deed and truth.”

How do I respond to the cry of the poor?
P – Prayer
Jesus. Help me to love in BOTH speech and deeds. Love Will.
