Think about your approach to problems

S – Scripture

Proverbs 21 v. 9 It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with contentious  women.

O – Observation

Choose your approach. This proverb has nothing to do with women. You can replace the woman with men. What his is saying is….. It is better to be outside and face the elements of weather than to be inside and face the elements of mental and psychological abuse. This proverb can apply to how you approach problems at work of school. Do you approach them contentiously? Does that approach generate more strife? Or do you approach them with a right mind? Do you approach them with patience and understanding? Colossians 3 v. 12-13a sums up the approach we should take, “Put on then as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, loveliness, meekness and patience, forbearing one another and if one has a complain against another, forgiving each other.”

A – Application

What is my approach to my problems? Patience or confrontation?

P – Prayer

Jesus. Remove the contentiousness in me. Love Will.
