S – Scripture
Proverbs 21 v. 31 The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.
O – Observation
Understand and Act. We need to understand that God is the driving power in our lives and actions. Proverbs 3 v. 5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.” We need to trust where God will lead us. But, He doesn’t want us sitting on the sofa, he wants us to be involved, making the horse ready. James 2 v. 17, “So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.” He gives us the e tools to make us ready. 2 Timothy 1 v. 7, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of POWER and LOVE and SELF CONTROL.” The rewards of being battle ready in our walk in faith are enormous. Revelation 2 v. 7b, “To him who conquers, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise.”
A – Application
Am I willing to be battle ready wherever God takes me?
P – Prayer
Jesus. Help me to live my life in understanding and acts for your glory. Love Will.
