Extend your family with Friends

S - Scripture
Proverbs 27 v. 6 Faithful are the words of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.

O - Observation
Sincerity. Love. This Proverb points out the importance of sincerity. A friend will help to improve you. They may encourage you, but they should challenge you. Proverbs 27 v. 17, "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." Sincerity in friendship is about developing a relationship. Its about bringing them into your "family". 1 Timothy 5 v. 1-2 gives us some good instruction. "Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as you would a FATHER; treat young men as BROTHERS, older woman as MOTHERS, younger woman as SISTERS, in all purity."

A - Application
What is my approach to friends? Am I bringing them into the family?

P - Prayer
Jesus, Help me to extend my "family" with true friends.  Love Will.
