S – Scripture
Proverbs 24 v. 3 By wisdom a house is built, and by its understanding it is establish.
O – Observation
The foundation of our lives – Wisdom. As we build or houses, our lives and as we help others to build their lives, we need to base what we build on with wisdom. What is the ultimate source of Wisdom? God. More so than all of the wise men of the world. 1 Corinthians, 1 v. 25a, “ For the foolishness of God is wiser than man.” It’s not to say that the words of wise men is bad or wrong, its just shouldn’t be the cornerstone. We need to remember Ephesians 2 v. 20b, “Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.” Jesus makes it clear about himself as recorded in John 14 v.5, “I am the way, and the TRUTH, and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me.”
