Event: Peter Speaks to the Onlookers after Healing a Lame Beggar
S - Scripture
Acts 3 v. 19 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be
blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
O - Observation
The bottom line. Turn to the Lord, so that your sins will be blotted out, and
God will accept you into his kingdom to give you eternal life. Isaiah 1 v. 18,
"Come now let's reason together, says the Lord: thought your sins are like
scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; thought they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool." No matter how good we are, we are still
imperfect in God's eyes. After all, no one is perfect. Romans 3 v. 23,
"Since all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." Thus the
critical, absolutely essential sacrifice of Jesus for our sins. Jesus paid the
price for us.
A - Application
Have I turned to the Lord?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Thanks for your suffering and death so that I may live. Love
Will
