Event: Peter and John before the Sanhedrin
S - Scripture
Acts 4 v. 4 But many of those who heard the word believed: and the number of
men came to about five thousand.
O - Observation
Hearing. The electric cord of faith. One can't turn on a lamp if it's not
plugged in. You have to plug the cord into the electric socket for the
electricity to flow though it to get to the bulb. You need the electricity to
light the lamp. So it is with our faith. How can we be lights to the world if
we are not plugged in? Romans 10 v. 17, So faith comes from what is heard, and
what is hear comes by the preaching of Christ." God's word can only be
effective if it is heard. What good is a lamp if the cord lays on the floor
next to the socket but unplugged in?
A - Application
What am I doing with the cords in my life? Am I plugging mine in? Am I helping
to plug in others?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Help me to plug others into you. Love Will
