S - Scripture
1 Timothy 1 v. 16 But I receive mercy for this reason,
that in my, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience
for an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
O - Observation
Open up the blinds!!! This verse makes it perfectly clear
that Jesus has a key partnership with each of us. He died on the cross and rose
again so that we may be saved from eternity in Hell. This is Mercy.
We then
need to let the Spirit of God shine in our lives. 1 Corinthians 3 v. 16,
"Do you not know that you are God's temple, and that God's spirit dwells
within you?" Think about it, we, our bodies, our minds, our lives is God's
temple. Why would we ever close the blinds, not live our lives to God's glory?
Why would we ever close the shutters when we can provide an example and
encouragement to others?

Are the blinds open in God's temple?
