The importance of the law

S - Scripture

1 Timothy 1 v. 8-9a  Now we know that the law is good, if anyone uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient.

O - Observation

The Law, God's commands and instructions are for everyone. Psalm 19 v. 7, "The law of the Lord is Perfect, reviving the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple." This brings out 

the point, the value of God's law, it revives the soul. Gives us clear direction for our well being. Satan would love to have anarchy, and our sinful flesh is more than willing to oblige. But, we know that Satan's plan for us is to Kill, steal and destroy. So why would we NOT follow God's commands?

Jesus, Thanks for reviving my soul with your law.  Love Will.
