Proverbs 29 v. 4 By justice a King gives stability to the land, but one who
exacts gifts ruin it.
O - Observation
Fairness. Easy said, but sometimes hard to do. Everyone is watching you, they
are judging your actions determining if what you do is fair. God gave great
instruction to Moses regarding Justice in Deuteronomy 16 v. 19-20a, "You
shall not pervert Justice, you shall not show partiality; and you shall not
take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of
the righteous. Justice and only Justice, you shall follow that you may live and
inherit the land which the Lord your God gives you." By showing
partiality, you create division, which leads to conflict.
A - Application
Am I fair in my dealings with people? Both knowing when to give and when to
take away?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Help me to give stability to the people that I interact with. Love
Will.
