Don't be partial

S - Scripture
Proverbs 28 v. 21 To show partiality is not good; but for a piece of bread a man will do wrong.

O - Observation
Fairness. This Proverb is applicable for leaders and non leaders alike. Its our approach to people. God wants us to view everyone equally. After all, we were created in God's image. Genesis 1 v. 27a, "So God created man in his own image." What happens when we show partiality? It impacts everyone. It creates divisiveness amongst the people. This is contrary to God's desire. Romans 15 v. 5, "May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in unity with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus." Partiality also inspires bad behavior for those that are neglected to gain favor. Its the "piece of bread" that a man will do. It may be slandering a friend or ignoring a friend so that you may look good.
