Acts 14 v. 2-3a But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren So they remained there a long time, speaking boldly for the Lord.
O – Observation
Discouragement. Opposition. That’s what the disciples were encountering at Iconium. A coordinated effort to attack that they were saying - The Truth!! So, what did they do? They didn’t run. No they stayed there (a long time) and continued to speak (boldly nonetheless) for the Lord. Fast forward to today. There are definitely factions in the world that rile up people to be against Christians. The Darwism symbol is a classic case of this. The evolutionist has made it (poisoned their minds) so that it is taught as truth, even when there is no evidence that what they say is true. This was all predicted in 2 Peter 2 v. 1b, “Just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies.”

Jesus, Give me the stamina and wisdom to continue to speak boldly for you. Love Will
