Proverbs 23 v. 4 Do not toil to acquire wealth; be wise enough to desist.
O – Observation
Don’t let money or wealth be your driving force, It wealth consumes you, then you have essentially replace God for money. Riches becomes your God. Jesus pointed this out in Matthew 6 v. 24b, “You can not serve God and money.” Pursuing/obsessing about money is VERY dangerous. 1 Timothy 56 v. 10, “For the LOVE of money is the root of all evils; it is thru this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and have pierced their hearts with many pains.” So what should we toil for? Jesus clues us in with Matthew 6 v. 20, “But lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in a and steal.”

What am I toiling for?
P – Prayer
Jesus. Help me to keep my focus on Heavenly riches and not worldly riches. Love Will.
