S - Scripture
Proverbs 9 v. 11 For
by me your days will be multiplied, and years added to your life.
O - Observation
Wisdom is the fertilizer to our lives. I think about the trees and shrubs around my house. When I water them with Miracle grow, they really grow!!! The plants really suck up the good stuff. Its more than water, its Miracle Grow!! What a great analogy for our lives. Sure, we may get wisdom, words from wise people and it will help us to grow. That's like just watering the plants. But when we inject Godly wisdom into our lives - that's the MIRACLE GROW!!! That will flourish us. Psalm 13 v. 6; "I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me."
A - Application
Am I fertilizing me life with Godly wisdom? Am I regularly being fertilized?
P - Prayer
S - Scripture
Proverbs 9 v. 1-2
Wisdom has built her house, she has set up her seven pillars. She has
slaughtered her beasts, she has mixed her wine, she has also set her
table.
Celebrate. Wisdom is preparing a place for celebration in our lives. It is building a house. It is preparing a feast. Why wouldn't we want to join in the feast? Wisdom has only good things to offer. Psalm 1 v. 1, 2-3." Blessed is the man who delights in the Law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all he does, he prospers." Through out the Bible, God instructs us on the value of his wisdom. Every picture of Wisdom that is painted is one of a positive value.
A - Application
Where am I building my house, where am I planting my trees?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Help
me to build a strong house based upon your word. Love
Will.

S - Scripture
Proverbs 8 v. 35-36
For he who finds me (Wisdom) finds life and obtains favor from the Lord; but he
who misses me injures himself; all who hate me love death.
O - Observation
Value of Godly wisdom. This is the closing verses in Chapter 8 in which Wisdom is speaking. The rewards of finding Wisdom is great. Life and Favors. Jesus has told us in John 14 v. 6; " I am the way, the truth and the life; no one come to the Father but by me." Jesus makes it perfectly clear that he is the truth. He is the source of Wisdom. We are instructed earlier in Proverbs about this. Proverbs 3 v. 5; "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do NOT rely on your own insight." Be not wise in your own eyes!!!
A - Application
So.... if Godly Wisdom is so valuable, how hard am I searching for it? Am I a casual researcher or am I digging in?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Guide me,
motivate me to find and hold your wisdom. Love
Will.

Enduring. This verse is all about the enduring quality of God's wisdom. Notice when it was "created" or established. BEFORE the beginning of the Earth. God's wisdom transcends all human knowledge. Wikipedia. Ha!!! Library of Congress - Ha!!!. The whole graduating class of Harvard, Princeton and Yale, since they started - Ha!!! Put your mind around this. 1 Corinthians 1 v. 25; "For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men." How do we tap into this incredible source of wisdom? Proverbs 1 v. 7; "The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." We need to be in prayer on a daily basis, we need to read the Bible and think about what it has to say.
A - Application
Have I really thought about how wise God really is? And that he wants to share that with us?
P - Prayer
Jesus, You are incredible, fill me with some of your wisdom. Love
Will.

S - Scripture
Proverbs 8 v. 17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me
diligently find me.
O - Observation
Those. God tells us he loves THOSE who love him. How can we describe God's love for us? John 3 v. 16; "For God so LOVED the world that he GAVE his only son, that who ever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Jesus goes on to further clarify his love in John 15 v. 13; "Greater LOVE has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." Still Jesus ratchets it up further to define his love. Romans 5 v. 7-8; "Why, one will hardly die for a righteous man, thought perhaps a good man will dare to dire. But God showed his LOVE for us in that while we were yet sinners CHRIST DIED for us." Wow!!! Us - Those. I want to be one of Those. Matthew 7 v. 7; " Ask and it will be given to your SEEK and you will find; Knock and it will be opened to you. " Sounds like a diligent approach to me.
A - Application
Am I one of THOSE? One who loves and seeks God?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Help me to always love and look for you. Love Will.
S - Scripture
O - Observation
Priceless. That's what wisdom is. For in the end, a Jewel can be bought. It has a price. But yet, wisdom is better. Job recognized this proverb, as he lost everything. He says in Job 31 v. 24-19; :If I have made Gold my trust, or called find gold my confidence, this also would be an iniquity to be punished by the Judges, for I should of been false to God above." Job recognized that Godly wisdom was more valuable than anything he had. Where do I get this wisdom? 1 Corinthians 1 v. 30, "He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our WISDOM our righteousness, and sanctification and redemption." Godly wisdom is better than human wisdom since it is written in 1 Corinthians 1 v. 19, "I (Jesus) will destroy the wisdom of the wise."
A - Application
Am I seeking Godly wisdom? Have I ever thought that if I have Godly wisdom, what does that make me? - Priceless!!!
P - Prayer
Jesus, Fill me with your wisdom. Love Will.
