Event: Paul Before the Sanhedrin
S – Scripture
Acts 22 v. 30 But on the morrow, desiring to know the real reason why the Jews accused him, he (the commander of the Roman Guards) unbound him, and commanded the chief priest and all the council to meet, and he brought Paul down and set him before them.
O – Observation
That nagging feeling, that curiosity, that desire to understand why people do what they do. This basic desire in everybody is what should compel us to live our lives fully and completely for Christ. David Crowder said it best, "We're gonna dance like we've been saved." Paul was simply following thru with what Jesus said in Matthew 4 v. 1, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your father who is in Heaven." So as your live your life, dance like you’re gonna be saved and if someone asks why, don't be afraid. Just tell them the awesome news that drives you. And then ask would you like to be driven by Jesus?
A - Application
Am I dancing like I've been saved?
P – Prayer
Jesus, Help me to let my light shine for your glory. Love Will.
