Trust God at all times - even when it seems bad

Event: Paul the Roman Citizen
S – Scripture
Acts 22 v. 24 The tribune commanded him to be brought into the barracks, and ordered him to be examined by scourging, to find out why they shouted against him.

O – Observation
It can't get worse, can it? This verse exemplifies out the saying, out of the frying pan and into the fire. Paul was originally bound and was being sent to prison. But now, after he talked to the Jewish people, (and they went crazy) he now is going to be examined by scourging. If you thought a bunch of lawyers quizzing you was bad, try a professional torturer!! But, what happens next is how God planned it. This event here is what ultimately sends him to Rome where he.. 1) lived there for two whole years 2) welcomed all who came to him 3) Preached the kingdom of God openly and unhindered. Paul trusted that God had a plan for him, regardless of the situation.

A - Application
When it seems to get worse, do I trust that God has a plan for me?

P – Prayer
Jesus, I am trusting you. Regardless.  Love Will.
