Stand Firm!!!

Event: Paul is Arrested

S – Scripture
Acts 21 v. 34 Some in the crowd shouted one thing, some another, and as he could not learn the facts because of the uproar, he ordered him to be brought into the barracks.

O – Observation
Not sure what to do. Prior to this verse the people of Jerusalem dragged Paul out of the temple and were in the process of beating him to death. It took the city's policemen, soldiers at the time, to stop the carnage. Even then they had to put Paul in a safe place.  But where? Jail. Barracks. People will not be sure what to do when encountering the message of Christ. Especially when emotions run high. There are divisive issues, -- abortion, gender issues, evolution. I've seen passion about these issues on both sides. What will we do? Stay firm to the instruction of God's word. But do as Ephesians 5 v. 32a, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

A - Application
Do you know what to do?

P - Prayer
Jesus, Help me to stand firm and steady when confusion reigns.   Love Will.
