Don't be afraid about the reality of being a Christian

Event: Paul transferred to Caesarea

S – Scripture
Acts 23 v. 28-29 And desiring to know the charge on which they accused him, I brought him down to their council. I found that he was accused about question of their law, but charged with nothing deserving death or imprisonment.

O – Observation
The definition of persecution. The tribune of Jerusalem, Claudius Lysias, in essence defined persecution in today's verses. Persecution is undeserved punishment or death. This will be the road for those that follow Jesus. Why? Ephesians 6 v. 12 tells us, " For we are not contending with flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. " Jesus knows this. That is why he told us in Matthew 24 v. 9, " Then they will deliver you to tribulation and be put to death; and you will be hated by all nations for my names sake. " So why put yourself through this? Revelation 2 v. 10b, "Be faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of life."

A - Application
Am I being faithful even when persecuted?

P – Prayer
Jesus, Thank you for the crown of life. Love Will.
