S - Scripture:

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

O - Observation: 

What a sweet verse, it almost sings to you like a lullaby! God is a God of hope, the promise of salvation by Grace through Faith Ephesians 2:8,9! We can be filled to overflowing with joy and

peace because we are saved not by our own efforts but by what our precious Jesus did for us on the cross. So great is the Father’s love that He sent not only His Son but the Spirit, John 14:26; to cause us to understand this wonderful news! When God is for us, who can be against us! Romans 8:31

A - Application: 

I wonder how our happiness barometer would change if we would seriously begin and end each day with this text? If we truly thought about these words and believed the words of hope in the Gospel John 3:16; Wouldn’t everyone want the joy that is ours?

P - Prayer: 

Gracious Father, May Your Spirit invade the hearts of all Your people, so that all might be encouraged and share in This Hope, in Jesus Name, Amen
