Proverbs 10 v.32 The lips of the righteous knows what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
O - Observation
Linguistics. And we are not talking about foreign languages. We are talking about the languages from our heart. Just like learning another language, its when you think and dream in that language will you become proficient at it. Matthew 15 v. 18a, "But what comes out of the month proceeds from the Heart." Jesus then goes on to describe the heart of a sinful man. Matthew 15 v. 19, "For out of the Heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness and slander." This is our native sinful tongue. How do we learn the tongue of the righteous? 1st, recognize this, we need God to master our Hearts. 1 John 3 v. 20, "Whenever our Hearts condemn us, for God is greater than our hearts." We need to pray for God's help. Psalm 50 v. 10, "Create in me a CLEAN heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me."
A - Application
What am I doing to learn the language of the righteous?
P - Prayer
