Prepare for Hard Times

S - Scripture    
Proverbs 10 v. 25  When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is established forever. 

O - Observation

It’s coming. Trials. Hard times. Struggles. Tempest. Just as the sun and rain shine and rains on everybody, wicked or righteous, so it is with trials. Some folk’s trials or tempest are larger storms than others. How do we survive the storms? Matthew 7 v. 24b-25, " A wise man who built his house on the Rock and the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the Rock."  What Rock are we talking about? 1 Samuel 2 v.3, "There is no Rock like our God." or Deuteronomy 32 v. 3-4a, "For I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Ascribe greatness to our God! The Rock. His work is perfect." This verse clarifies who's the Rock, 1 Corinthians 10 v. 4b, "And the Rock was Christ."

What am I doing to prepare for the tempest in my life? Where is my foundation?    

P - Prayer     
Jesus,  You are the Rock. I will build my life on you.  Love Will.
