Mark 4 v. 2 And he taught them many things in parables.
O – Observation
What is a parable? It’s a story within a double meaning. The story provides guidance in a format that is easily understood, with the real meaning (in Jesus case, the TRUTH) wrapped / comingled with the story. The Bible has a ton of Parables.
A – Application
If Jesus parables are about the Truth, I should spend some time reading, researching, and thinking about his parables. Also, perhaps this is a way I should present the Truth. Jesus was modeling an approach for us to use.
P – Prayer
Jesus, Give me wisdom to understand your parables and the skill to teach others about you in parables. Love Will
