Psalm 118 v. 22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the head
of the corner.
O - Observation
Rejection. This verse is abut rejection. The world rejects Jesus, but he is the cornerstone, the foundation of our heavenly life. Webster defines reject as to "not accept". We can't accept what the world says about Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1 v. 19, For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." We can't accept what the world says about our priorities, about what we spend our time pursuing. Jesus tell us in Matthew 6 v. 33, " But seek first his kingdom and all his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well." We can't accept what the world says about status and Power. Jesus said in Mark 9 v. 35b, " If anyone be first, he must be last of all and servant of all." So the reality is, we must reject the rejection of the world.

What am I rejecting? The world or Jesus?

Jesus, Help me to reject the worlds rejection of you. Love Will
