God's word is living and active

Event: Peter Explains His Actions

S - Scripture
Acts 11 v. 18 When they heard this they were silenced. And they glorified God, saying, "Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance unto life."

O - Observation
The moment of realization. This verse was the Jerusalem Jews reaction upon hearing Peter tell them that God sent Jesus for everybody. Message heard. Message being absorbed, processed and then silence. Then the click, the switch, the realization. Which produced praise and action. How do we get to that moment? Or if your already there, how do we get others there? Romans 10 v. 17, "So faith (the moment of realization) comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ. " Simply put, we need to share God's word with everybody. Never underestimate the power of his word. Hebrews 4 v. 12, "For the word of God is living and Active."
