Pray for those being persecuted

Event: Peter's Miraculous Escape from Prison
S - Scripture
Acts 12 v. 5 So Peter was kept in prison; but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.

O - Observation
Persecution - Prayer. The reaction of the church for Peter should be our reaction when we hear of persecution of Christians. Earnest prayer for the ones being persecuted. Intentional prayer. Hebrews 13 v. 3, "Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you also are in the body" We are linked with those Christians being persecuted today. There's places in the world where being a Christian is punishable by death. There are today,  fellow Christians in Jail on account of his name. We need to live out the fundamental fact of being a body of believers, 1 Corinthians 12 v. 26, "If one member suffers, all suffer together. If one member honored, all rejoice together.

A - Application
Am I suffering along with those being persecuted? Am I praying for them?

P - Prayer
Jesus, Give freedom, give courage, give conviction, give your Holy Spirit to those in prison on account of your name.   Love Will
