S - Scripture
Acts 13 v. 38-39a Let it be known to you therefore, brethren, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law.
O - Observation
Freedom. That's what Jesus is. That's what his death and resurrection has done for us. No longer do we have to worry about being good enough to get into heaven, or to get God's graces. Romans 5 v.8, "But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. " Now that is freedom, that's love. God has sent Jesus to be the substitute for our sins. We can never be perfect, keep the law, therefore, because of his death we have been set free. Hebrews 9 v. 15, "Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred which redeems them from the transgression under the first covenant.”
