Event: Peter's Miraculous Escape from Prison
Acts 12 v. 7 And behold, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying,' Get up quickly. And the chains fell off his hands.'
O - Observation
Freedom from your darkest hour. In this case Peter was in prison, waiting for death. But Peter was set free by an angel of the Lord. This can parallel our life. We may be in bondage, and/or prison due to the sinful things we do. Our secret shame can create walls of isolation. Our desire for revenge can shackle us, bind us from being effective. But, Jesus, can provide the freedom from these things. 2 Corinthians 3 v.17, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." So let us ,"Get up quickly" and recognize our freedom!!!

Do I realize my freedom? Am I shackled needlessly
