How do you react to God's word?

S - Scripture     

Matthew  2 v. 5  They told him, in Bethlehem of Judea; for so it is written by the prophet.  

O - Observation              

Its interesting to see the peoples reaction to the word of God as written by prophets. On one hand you have the wise men who have studied his word and acted on it. Then you have King Herod, who hears the word of God, but hates what it has to say and acts in his own selfish way. Finally, you have a group that  knows God’s word inside and out but does nothing about it (the Chief priests and scribes.). Hmmmm... Fast forward to today. The New Testament has prophecies written by Jesus and John through a vision from God – Revelation. Which leads me to….  

   

A - Application            

So... How am I reacting to the words of the prophets of the New Testament? 

P - Prayer  

Jesus, Help me to be like the wise men, to not only read and study, but to act. Love Will.
