Love People for who they are

S - Scripture
Matthew 1 v.  5   And Salmon the Father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth.

O - Observation
It's interesting to note that in the long list of Genealogy,  this is the only place where both of the Moms are mentioned by name, (except for Mary at the end). Neither of these ladies were Royalty. Rahab was a whore, and the other was a widow. Rahab helped the spies when Joshua was conquering Jericho (See Joshua 2) She was a second class citizen. Ruth was extremely poor. However, when she got married they blessed her by saying, "Maker her house just like Rachael and Leah who built Israel." (Ruth 4 v.11). Wow!!! Did they know what they were saying!! She ended up being the Direct line to King David and Jesus our Savior.

A - Application
All this makes me think of my favorite song by David Crowder, "You make everything glorious!" Am I judging people today based upon their status?

P - Prayer
Jesus,   Help me to love people for who they are. Love Will.
