In Him we Live

S - SCRIPTURE: 

Acts 17:28a. For in Him we live and move and have our our being.

O - OBSERVATION: 

And that is exactly from whence our freedom  comes. Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with Him through Baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may have a new life. Christ died for us, made us new and free by baptism and by His death. We too will live a glorified life in Eternity. In Psalm 139:16 it says you knew the length of our days before we were even formed.  How freeing is that, if something bugs you give it over to our loving Father, surrender your worries to Him. 1 Peter 5;7 Cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

A - APPLICATION: 

Oh how our twisted worried world needs these freeing verses from God’s Holy Word! Today is the 4th of July, generally a big celebration of our freedoms is a chance for families to gather. Today we should also gather in Church and celebrate not only our countries’ freedom but also the freedom found in His Word! John 8:32 And you will know the truth and the and the Truth will set you free!

P - PRAYER: Gracious Father, help us to know, wherever we find ourselves even like Paul in prison, we are still free! Free from the awful anguish caused by our thoughts, words and deeds. We are free because the blood of Jesus Redeemed us! May we always surrender to that Jesus

who paid it All! In Jesus Name, Amen
