Trust in the Lord and you will be blessed

S - Scripture
Psalm 84 v. 12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in thee!

O - Observation
Blessed. Its interesting that most of us think of the Beatitudes (blessings)
in Matthew from Jesus sermon on the mount. However, there definitely is the
Beatitudes of the Psalms. This chapter (Psalm 84) had three Blessings.
Amongst the various definitions in Webster this is the one that is used for
blessed, "make holy". And Webster defines Holy as "being connected with
God". So blessed is really making a Holy connection with God. What better
way to be connected with God than to trust in him? Why do you trust some
one? 1) Because they are always there for you. Matthew 29 v. 20b, "Lo I am
with you always." 2) Because they keep their promises. There's only one
person who has kept all his promises - God (Father , Son, Holy Spirit).

A - Application
Am I being blessed by my trust in God?

Jesus, I am trusting you Lord Jesus   Love Will
