S - SCRIPTURE: Acts 20: 24b the “Task” of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

O - OBSERVATION: Paul’s goal is to run the race and complete the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. That’s the task of every believer, to tell others of God’s grace. I believe God chose us for that very special reason. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation God’s special possession, that you may declare (testify) the Praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. The task of God’s children is to share the good news with others.

A - APPLICATION: Because we know Jesus we must not be quiet about it. God calls us to share Jesus and His love in our thoughts words and deeds. In this year of following Jesus, the “task”

must be what we are about. May God’s Spirit enable us so to do.

P - PRAYER: Gracious Father, You have given us the good news of Jesus, help us to be diligent in the task of sharing.  In Jesus Name, Amen
