S - SCRIPTURE:
1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

O-OBSERVATION:
So Holy Week is behind us on the calendar we listened to inspiring messages about the bitter and undeserved suffering and death of our beloved Jesus. We also heard the great news that “He is Risen”. We’ve had the opportunity to worship and sing music that touched our
hearts with all that God has done for us. Now, what’s next? The above text gives us a clue. Always remember that Jesus Christ is Lord, and always be prepared to gently give an
answer for the hope that is in you. I’ve paraphrased the text, but we should not miss an opportunity to give a gentle and loving answer for the hope, the sure conviction that is within us.
For it is by this that they will know we are His disciples; John 13:35.

A - APPLICATION:
Do we go about our life with a smile on our face a contagious joy in the sure knowledge that Jesus has us, both in this world and the next; Or do we chose to be glum, saddened by whatever this evil and sinful world has delivered at our door? I’m fully aware many have much to be sad about and my heart aches for you, but Jesus died that we might live! The many examples in the gospels of Jesus healing the sick, causing the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the lame to walk, and even the dead to rise up, tells us Jesus has great compassion for those who suffer. Take heart then my friends in Christ, Jesus knows what you feel, he wants the best for you, place your cares on Him, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7.

P - PRAYER: Gracious Father, You gave us life through the Resurrection of Jesus, help us by the power of the Spirit to gently and lovingly share the great hope that is deep within our hearts, In Jesus Name, Amen
