S - Scripture
Psalm 46 v. 2-3 Therefore we shall not fear though the earth should
change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea, though its waters roar
and foam, though the mountains trouble with its tumult.
O - Observation
No Fear. There is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. We will
see all the above disasters in our lives. So far, in the past few years,
devastating earthquakes: Haiti, Chile. Tsunamis, volcano's. Wow!!! The earth is
doing these things stated in today's Psalm. Jesus tells us that this will
happen when he talks about signs of the end of the age. Matthew 24 v. 7b-8,
"And there will be famines and earthquakes in various places, all this is
but the beginning of the birth pangs. " This much is true, the thing we
stand on, the existence we know, (life on earth) is not stable. But, life with
Jesus is. Matthew 24 v. 35, "Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words
will not pass away."
A - Application
Do I worry with all the turmoil that is going on?
P - Prayer
Jesus, You will never fade. You are the I AM. Love Will
