Scripture:

2 Tim3:14-15 But as for you, CONTINUE in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus!

Observation: 

The first part of this chapter refers to how many will be lead astray as the last days approach,

then the Apostle writes these words for us. He tells us to CONTINUE in what we have learned. This points to the, great importance of teaching children while they are young. There is a war going on for our soul, between Jesus and the evil one, who do we want to spend eternity with? The scriptures are able to make us wise unto salvation, plenty

of reason to continue in them!

Application: T

These verses are exactly why Pastor Tim exhorts us to read the scriptures daily. We need to continue that to keep Satan from gaining a foothold and to make us wise.

Prayer: 

Father, May we all be frequent and fervent readers of Your Holy Word and May Your Spirit work though our CONTINUED searching of the scriptures. In Jesus Name, Amen
