Be Generous!!!

S - Scripture

Proverbs 19 v.6 Many seek the favor of a generous man, and everyone is a friend to a man who gives gifts. 

 

O - Observation

The open door. This proverb speaks to how to open the door to let people into your lives. Generosity. Its not just money. Its time, its caring, its helping. When you’re generous, people will come into your lives. There's a rational for this. Ephesians 5 v. 15-16, "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, MAKING THE MOST OF THE TIME, because the days are evil." That exposure to people, that generosity will provide is the opportunity to share the good news. To sow the seeds. Because we know, most of these people, when generosity dies so does the friendship. But if the friends become brothers, brothers in Christ, it will make no difference what your status is.

 

A - Application

Am I opening the door to people? What am I doing with the people that come in my door?

 

P - Prayer

Jesus, Help me to be generous. Put me in front of many people for your name.   Love Will.
