Take out the Trash!!!

S - Scripture  
Proverbs 18 v. 6-7  A fools lips bring strife, and his mouth invites a flogging. A fools mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to himself.

O - Observation

Take out the Trash!!! This proverb speaks to the value of trash talking. It only brings pain to the one dong the talking. At some point, all what you say, your arrogance, will come crashing down. You see it in sports, you see it in politics. James 3 v. 5, " So the tongue is a little member and boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by a small fire." We must not let our pride get in the way and dominate our conversations. Instead we need to remove the trash talking from our mindset and instead focus on  uplifting and encouraging one another. 1 Thessalonians 5 v. 11, "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."

Am I taking out the trash talk in my life? Am I encouraging?
