S - Scripture
Psalm 64 v. 10 Let the righteous rejoice in the Lord, and take refuge in
him! Let all the upright in heart glory!
O - Observation
Pride. Proud of our eternal heritage. Webster defines glory as, "a reason
for pride." I think of Fans for college football teams. They are nuts for
their team. They have all the school colors, remember all the great victories
and players. They try to convince anyone around them, that their team is the
ONE. I kind of got caught up in this with the Missouri Tigers. But, if you
think about this, why wouldn't you apply the same approach to the eternal
winning team? We have an opportunity to wear our Christians colors. "love
, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, genteelness and self
control." What greater victory was won than Jesus victory over death and
the devil?
A - Application
Am I a die-hard fan for Jesus? Is my pride coming through?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Help me to share your colors and to share your victories with
everyone. Love Will
