Be an active "Wiseguy!"

S - Scripture
Psalm  53 v. 2 God looks down from heaven upon the sons of men to see if
there are any that are wise, that seek after God.

O - Observation
What's wise in God's eyes?  Proverbs 1 v. 7a, "The fear of the Lord is the
beginning of wisdom." It’s interesting to note, God is not looking to see who
is industrious, strong, financially successful or has multiple Phd's. No,
he's looking to see who is seeking after God. I like the action verb in
this - seeking. Webster defines seek as to search for something. Seeking,
searching is not a passive verb. It requires action. It requires digging
through God's word. It requires meditation on it. It requires praying to
God. But, being "Book smart" is not enough. We need to live what God tells you
to do. James 2 v. 17, "So faith by itself if it has no works is dead."

A - Application
How active am I in being wise in God's eye's?

P - Prayer
Jesus, Instill a burning desire in my heart to actively seek you with all my
heart, soul and body.  Love Will
