Everyone Who Believes is Freed

S - SCRIPTURE: 

Acts 13:39 And by Him, everyone who believes is freed, from everything!

O - OBSERVATION: Oh what an awesome statement of the best news ever, the Gospel! Have you ever felt the awful burden, the “fetters of sin,” it kept you awake at night, and then you 

confess and hear you are forgiven, and the load is lifted, you are free. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed!

A - APPLICATION: Because we believe in Jesus we are totally free! I’m reminded of the final refrain from the song “Death was arrested.” 

   "We’re free, free, forever we’re free. 

    Come join the song of all the Redeemed. 

    Yes we’re free, free, forever Amen, 

    When death was arrested and my life began!

We sing these songs with a heart that’s running over with gratitude, to Jesus who freed those who believe. May it forever be so for God’s children.

P - PRAYER: Gracious Father, how beautiful is Your plan and Your Grace for the contrite heart. May we always remember we’re free because of the blood of Jesus, Your Son.
