S - Scripture
Psalm 71 v. 18 So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me,
till I proclaim thy might to all the generations to come.
O - Observation
Pass it on. I love this verse. It shows how folks even in an old age, can still
make a difference for Jesus. Unlike retirement, where we look forward to not
having to work, we never should retire from the work that God has laid out for
us. Matthew 28 v. 19a, 20a, "Go therefore and make disciples of all
nations,... teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."
So in old age, it might be harder to GO, but as this psalm says, we can PROCLAIM.
In our Golden years we will have seen and experienced much. We will /should
follow Peter and John's example in Acts 4 v. 20, "For we can not speak of
what we have seen and heard." However, think about it this way, Moses was
80ish when he parted the red sea. Perhaps our Golden years can really be
Golden!!!

Will I let retirement be only from work?
P - Prayer
Jesus, Let my "golden" years be filled with zeal to share your
