S - Scripture
Psalm 80 v. 19 Restore us, O Lord God of Hosts! Let thy face shine, that we may
be saved!
O - Observation
Restore. Webster has two definitions for this word. "Return a situation to
the way it was before, and fix something up so that it looks like new. Well,
using the first definition, what is our situation today? We are stuck in sin.
We do things that are displeasing to God. We do things that cause God to cry. What
was the situation before? Adam and Ever were in regular communication with God
in the Garden of Edom. There was no sin, there was perfect harmony with God.
Restore is an action verb. So, how does God restore us back to the Garden? He
did this by sending his son Jesus. John 3 v. 16, "For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only son, that who ever believes in him should not
perish but have eternal life. " Life in heaven will be restoration.
